  Overview

  After completing this module, the pharmacist will be able to educate a patient on the advantages and disadvantages of each hormonal contraceptive product, initiate a safe and effective hormonal contraceptive method, adjust therapy when adverse effects are present, suggest other contraceptive methods when drug interactions exist, counsel on missed doses and discuss the return to fertility with each method of hormonal contraception.
