    • Overview

      USP 797 sterile compounding guidelines have been revised, becoming official in 2023! For the pharmacist or technician working in a sterile compounding environment, a keen understanding of the revisions is paramount. Pharmacy leadership teams need to intimately understand the changes and what preparatory efforts need to be happening now. This presentation will review the revised USP <797> standards and best practices that support safe sterile compounding. Facility design, personnel training and monitoring, environmental monitoring, and work practices will be discussed.
