    Jimmy Leonard, PharmD, DABAT received his pharmacy degree from Washington State University College of Pharmacy. After graduation, he completed a PGY1 Pharmacy residency at Providence St. Peter’s Hospital in Olympia, WA followed by a two year fellowship in Clinical Toxicology at the Maryland Poison Center. He is currently an Associate Professor of Pharmacy at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. His practice includes acute poisoning and emergency department pharmacy. He teaches poisoning management in a toxicology elective, critical care elective, and pediatrics elective. Additionally, he is faculty in the Masters of Science in Medical Cannabis and Therapeutic program in a course that focuses on harm reduction. His research interests include toxicoepidemiology, poisoning prevention, and optimizing poisoning care.
