Heather Draper, PharmD, BCPS, is a Clinical Pharmacist in Emergency Medicine at Trinity Health Grand Rapids in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ferris State University College of Pharmacy and completed residency training in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dr. Draper's passion for documenting the impact of pharmacy services has been demonstrated through her scholarly pursuits of research evaluating the role and impact of the pharmacist in the Emergency Department setting and by raising awareness through educational efforts in the medical community. Dr. Draper has joyfully served in several educational roles over the course of her career and has been recognized by receiving Excellence in Teaching, Most Influential Professor and Preceptor of the Year Awards. Most recently, Dr. Draper has expanded her role to include clinical, educational and leadership service in providing care to marginalized and vulnerable populations in low- and limited-resource settings throughout the world.
