    Pharmacy Manager, University of Illinois Veterinary Teaching Hospital

    Dr. Gochenauer graduated from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss!) School of Pharmacy in 2019 with her PharmD. She then completed a Clinical Veterinary Pharmacy Residency at Purdue University's Veterinary Teaching Hospital from 2019 - 2020. Following the completion of residency, she began a Clinical Staff Pharmacist position with the University of Illinois where she has worked since July 2020. In May 2023, Dr. Gochenauer became the pharmacy manager of the University of Illinois Veterinary Teaching Hospital Medication Dispensary. Her interests include cats, exotics, and compounded medications. She has recently published a book for veterinary compounding with Wiley, has multiple peer-reviewed publications, and consults for Plumb's Veterinary Drug Handbook.
