Healthcare professionals may not have a good understanding of the recommended initial therapeutic approach in patients with colorectal cancer or be fully aware of the roles of novel agents that are used in later lines of systemic therapy for colorectal cancer treatment. Additionally, healthcare professionals may not be able to recognize the common adverse events of traditional agents and newer drugs that are used for the treatment of colorectal cancer.
