    • Overview

Most pharmacy schools offer minimal study in dermatology, which leaves a significant gap in practitioner knowledge. Due to extreme price increases in dermatologicals the past 6 years, pharmacists are called on to make suggestions for more affordable treatment options. Additionally, newer, non-steroidal treatment options exist, however they are expensive as well. With all of these obstacles in mind, it is more important than ever for pharmacists and technicians to know how to navigate this changing landscape of treatment options.
