    • Overview

      This course will discuss untoward effects of antibiotics including resistance and adverse effects. These will then be used to lay the groundwork for principles, goals, and strategies for antimicrobial stewardship in the inpatient and outpatient setting. The audience will be exposed to the history, strategies, barriers, solutions and references for effective outpatient antimicrobial stewardship.
