  Overview

  Modesty is thrown out the window when I consult a patient in the lower gastrointestinal section of the store. For some reason patients that would never describe any bodily functions are more than ready to discuss hemorrhoids, stool frequency and consistency. We get a lot of patients with numerous questions related to constipation and diarrhea, and we need to know not only the mechanisms of action but the time and duration of onset of action. Lots of products, and the cross branding of products also makes this section challenging. We will also discuss pinworm infestation, with the prescription products being almost four hundred dollars, we are frequently consulted for cost effective therapy.
