    • Overview

It is a little over 100 years ago that Casimir Funk elucidated the need for "vital amines" that were isolated from the foods we eat. Vitamin supplementation in America for the most part (like most everything in America) is done to excess! Many prescription products are known to cause vitamin depletion, hence the need for supplementation. Many of our patients have questions for the pharmacist, and his or her expertise might be the only reliable source of information to that patient. Pharmacists are the "drug experts" about over-the-counter medications. Of utmost importance is our expertise in the vitamin section of our pharmacies.
