  Overview

  In a podcast style discussion, Mike Corvino, PharmD and Cole Swanson, PharmD discuss newly FDA-approved medications in 2021 and the first part of 2022. New medications have been approved for many disease states including atopic dermatitis, asthma, migraines, HIV and more. It is important that pharmacists and nurses be aware of these new medications when they encounter patients taking them. Awareness with help identify drug interactions, side effects, and therapeutic appropriateness. This session seeks to explore these topics, focusing on how this information may change daily medical practice.
