    • Overview

Treatment of acne can be challenging and, the truth be known, we don't cure acne, we simply manage it. Numerous topical treatments are available, and now the retinoids are moving from the pharmacy to the front of the store. More pharmacy consultation will be needed as these potent products are in our patients' reaches. Antifungal treatment failure is usually due to lack of adherence and the pharmacist's role is vital in treatment of the fungal-based infections, dermatophytes, dandruff, diaper rash, and onychomycosis.
