    • Overview

Stress, negativity, and seemingly insurmountable challenges are encountered daily by healthcare professionals. One can choose to either be pessimistic about circumstances or stay motivated and diligently work towards a viable solution. Often, the choice of a positive mindset and resulting response can not only enhance the well-being of the healthcare professional, but also the quality of patient care provided. The deleterious impact of automatic negative thoughts (ANTs, also known as cognitive distortions) is of special importance at this time. It is imperative to equip healthcare professionals with the awareness and tools necessary to overcome negative thoughts in order to enhance their professional success.
