This presentation explores the benefits of diabetes-related medication therapy management in the pharmacy and the cost savings to the healthcare industry that a consultation in the pharmacy can potentially bring. In addition, risk for diabetes and symptoms of hyper- and hypoglycemia together with factors that can contribute to fluctuation in blood glucose levels are reviewed.
