    • Overview

Many love the great outdoors in the autumn months! The change of seasons, however, brings a change in potential exposure to outdoor pathogens, bugs and other maladies. In the mountains of Pennsylvania, where Professor Pete lives, turkey and deer season take over the calendar. The school districts in Central Pennsylvania even schedule off the first days of whitetail deer season!

So, whether it stems from an early fall encounter with a timber rattlesnake, the Fall Camp-o-ree with the Boy Scouts, hiding out in the turkey blind or sitting in the deer stand, your patients will need your expertise. Back to school season brings surges in head lice outbreaks and bed bug populations thrive. This program will help the pharmacy solve the maladies that patients
sometimes encounter during these seasonal months.
