    • Overview

Employers place the need for “soft skills” at the top of their ‘wish lists’ when hiring new employees.  As academia continues to debate the best way to incorporate these skills into experiential learning programs and didactic work alike, the needs continue to be heralded by employers as a loosely defined gap that has been labeled as “soft skills.”  This session seeks to define the idea of “soft skills” in the pharmacy and explore immediately employable techniques to improve patient interactions at the pharmacy counter.
