  Overview

  Through the Federal Food Drug & Cosmetic Act, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is authorized to assure the safety and efficacy of the nation’s drug supply.This program will review the major components of the Federal Food Drug & Cosmetic Act, review the regulatory responsibility of the FDA, and how the FDA functions to ensure drug safety and efficacy.
