    • Overview

Learning and implementing “soft skills" such as listening, communication, and teamwork create stronger organizations, a more satisfying client/patient experience, and happier, more effective employees, but finding ways to teach these skills can present a challenge. This session seeks to explore how the unique skillset taught to improv comedians can be learned and applied for those that work in healthcare. In “Putting Yes, And To Work,” participants will be introduced to the basic concepts of improv comedy, what makes it such an effective tool for improving teamwork, listening, and communication, and how to use these skills to create a better experience for themselves, their co workers, and their patients.
