    • Overview

Among other things, the COVID-19 pandemic cast a spotlight on the reservations that many patients have regarding the idea of immunization in general. Despite elaborate awareness campaigns and a growing base of evidence in support of vaccination, some states still lag below 50% vaccination rates while vaccines expire in pharmacy refrigerators. This session seeks to examine the idea of vaccine hesitancy and explore ways that healthcare professionals may most effectively advocate for public health.
